It only takes a moment to see true beauty --- Welcome to the place we call our own: DENOMAN.

A 20 minute habal-habal ride from the poblacion is all it takes to reach this wondrous barangay. It says “Welcome to Barangay Denoman” -- and finally, we’ve arrived. Looking around, it seemed as if a vast valley is longing and yearning to be explored. Far from the noise and busy streets of the city, Denoman possesses that kind of aura that relaxes and enlightens the atmosphere. Like a child wanting a mother’s warmth, it is embraced by hills and mountains. Filled with tall trees and whistling birds plus the gentle breeze of fresh air, it is indeed a paradise.

It is a nest of hardworking people who show that life must be appreciated and treasured. They have a simple and modest way of living which makes you feel humbled and heartened. Sincerity is such a genuine affection that can be felt from them. With their heartfelt welcome and warm smiles, one can make you feel part of their families.

Standing on top of its highest hill, one can view a majestic abode. Just like the soaring trees that surround it, Denoman has its own capabilities that can make it rise and aim high.

While making our way from one household to another for our survey, we get distracted with the beautiful sights that we discover. We take a halt, snuffle some fresh air and indulge in the splendor it has to offer. Afterwards, we find ourselves refilled with vigor. With our camera, we try to capture such masterpiece.

My words would not be enough to paint you a picture of the top 3 spots of Denoman, so here it is:

Spot 1: The Riverside

The river runs through all the puroks in Denoman. When traversing from Purok 1 to 2 or Purok 2 to 4, your feet will be drenched by the cool and calming water of the river. If you want to enjoy an afternoon stroll with a friend, follow the river and enjoy the melody it creates as it takes its course.

Spot 2: Rice fields

The long-stretch of lush rice fields look like beds of green and golden brown where you can comfortably lie down and enjoy the nourishing sun. Once you walked on the “pilapils”, you will feel like a kid trying to make his/her way out of a labyrinth.

Spot 3: Purok 5 Mountaintop

It’s nice to rest on a mountain top and look back in amazement on the long and challenging hike you endured. You’ll forget how much you complained that you can no longer move your feet and how much sweat you perspired just to get there.The wind feels colder and the sky seems clearer. The mountains that stretch in a swathe of green velvet will take your breath away.
